MEET SEREEN

My name is Sereen, the creative behind the lens, a mom to a dino-loving gal, a full time mental health care specialist who is undoubtedly particular about her espresso. 

From an extremely young age, photography bred life into my soul. I’d find myself in the center of the world’s unmatched beauty and that moment I was in, that moment I was living, I never wanted to forget and so I tried to freeze that moment with the click of a shutter. I wanted to be able to relive that moment time and time again and relive all the emotions I felt in that very second and photography granted me that time travel. My main source of inspiration  was gifted to me by my dad who although wasn't a professional photographer, he was one who loved photography and loved to cherish every moment of life. Wherever he went, his film camera was right there with him and he was always ready to snap a good photo at the right moment. I love him for that. We have boxes and boxes of printed photos, an art lost in a generation of digital everything. Every now and then we all gather around to go through the images and what a joy (& embarrassment) it is! I always loved that bonding moment, I loved being able to relive my own memories and listen to my father and my mother relive theirs. That's what got me started in the industry. 

These photos were and still are a gift; a gift of a frozen moment, of a time long gone but one forever readily available to relive at a simple glance. A story unravels and that memory plays in your mind like a movie without sound. That is the gift I want to give you when you choose to book me for the events of your life. I want to give you what my father gave me, the most valuable still moments of life.
